Anna and Jeff had a few different wedding plans, but like so many people in 2020, the original plan got derailed. Plan B of eloping at Roan Mountain turned out to be absolutely beautiful! Surrounded by their immediate family, these two had a gorgeous intimate ceremony and an incredible wedding weekend getaway. 

We started their wedding day at the cabin Airbnb where Anna got ready with her mom and brothers. Her brothers helped make the boutineers and her mom zipped her into her beautiful dress!

From there, we drove to Roan Mountain for the ceremony! Anna copied down her vows in the car on the way there. 

After a hike up the mountain, Anna and Jeff had a beautiful intimate ceremony surrounded by their families. 

I got some serious Sound of Music vibes with the blue ridge mountains as a backdrop!

The photos hiking back down through the woods really reminded me of some of the Lord of the Rings scenes…. And this elopement (intentionally) took place on Bilbo Baggins birthday! Anna has a gorgeous sleeve of lord of the rings tattoos, so there was definitely a theme going here. As I also have a lord of the rings tattoo, I was SO ENTHUSED. 

The cold became a challenge at this point, so thank goodness for gorgeous fur wraps for all the cozy winter vibes. (Not to mention it’s a nice excuse for newlyweds to cuddle close.)

Thought the photo coverage ends there, I am told that they went white water rafting the following day with family!
